Hi my name is Margaret McDiarmid. I am married with 2 pets.

I have always had a dream to become a celebrant and that dream was not realised until I was married personally by an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. It got me thinking again about the career that I wanted to have.

I began studying through distance education with The Academy of Celebrancy Australia and completed my Celebrant studies. I now hold the certificates below :

Since I have completed my studies I have been writing ceremonies and starting to advertise my services. I always had the thought that the first funeral ceremony that I did I would be prepared for. I was honoured when I was asked to perform a Funeral Ceremony for a close friend's father. We had been laughing with him the night before he passed away.

With the planning all sorted and the ceremony done it was time to perform the ceremony but this did not come without doubt that it could be done in the time frame given. I successfully performed the ceremony and was complemented on the service that I had given by all that had attended.

I am looking forward to the future ceremonies that I have booked and want to give all customers a memorable and successful ceremony for whatever ceremony I am asked to do.
